Yes we do wedding flowers!
Below, and following the links on the left, are some examples of our wedding flowers. Prices can vary considerably depending on flowers and availability, so have a look through the site and call or email us to talk about your specific requirements.
To help you decide on the best blooms to suit your special day - here are a few pointers and some answers to the most commonly asked questions:
- Don't think of specific flowers - flick through magazines - look through websites and come up with the styles and colours you like best. This way you won't be limited by seasonal availability.
- Peonies are only available for a very short time - usually November - depending on the year - and only for about 3 weeks. Same goes for David Austin roses.
- Tulips are never a fantastic choice for a bouquet - they grow very quickly so what looks like a perfectly rounded bouquet in the morning might not be in the afternoon!
- Roses are still the most popular, but will make for a more expensive bouquet. The cost of high quality roses means you get less volume for your money. So consider other options to include in your bouquet e.g. Natives, pods, carnations, lillies etc.
- Think about the weather - Summer weddings need strong flowers to cope with the heat (think natives and orchids)
Before you talk to us about your wedding flowers:
- Bring along or email us some pictures of the kind of thing you're looking for
- Consider the flowers required for bridesmaids, groomsmen, Mum's & Dad's, Grandparents, flowergirls (or just the little people that might like a little token bouquet for the day), reception flowers, cake flowers, throwaway bouquets etc.
- Remember - we're never cheapest. We only deal in excellence. The best flowers in the most unusual, interesting or classic styles but we never compromise on quality.
- And finally - we'd always appreciate a phonecall first to let us know you're coming. Giving you the best attention to help work out your wedding flowers takes time, and we're always busy! This way we can make ourselves as available as possible.
Why not think about artificial wedding flowers? Anything you can do with fresh - you can do with artificial - and at around the same cost!
